Miquel Sanagustin Llousas is Executive & Strategic Coordination Manager at GESDA, where he acts as a strategic partner to the Director General, supporting priority-setting, decision-making, and follow-up across the organization. He drives cross-functional coordination to align and execute key initiatives, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and preparing high-level briefings to support leadership discussions and governance processes. He joined GESDA in 2024 as Board Manager and Executive Assistant, where he managed governance processes for the Board and its committees and served as a key interface between the Director General, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Before joining GESDA, Miquel spent over four years at Novartis as Manager Board Affairs, coordinating Board and Committee meetings and working closely with the Corporate Secretary, Corporate Communications, and stakeholders across the CEO Office, Legal, Compliance, and Finance. Earlier in his career, he built a strong foundation in event and congress management at Nobel Biocare, leading global events for up to 3,500 attendees.

He holds a degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a Master’s in Corporate Communications, Protocol, and Events from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French, with working German, Miquel brings a collaborative, stakeholder-focused approach shaped by a career spanning governance, communications, and event management.
