Ian Horuji supports GESDA in the design and incubation of scalable digital products, ensuring the strong relevance and broad adoption of GESDA’s offerings among global stakeholders. He is also a 2024 Geneva Science Diplomacy Week alumnus and now helps organize subsequent editions of this flagship GESDA programme.

Ian Horuji is a former public official from Ukraine. He led nationwide initiatives to improve transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric digital services, including the design and deployment of large-scale digital platforms and legislative reforms. Before public service, he worked as a project manager on the development of scoring and timing systems for the Olympic Games.

Ian holds an MSc in Economics (magna cum laude) from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a MAS in International Security from the University of Geneva. He is fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Russian.
