Shabon Jones is Stakeholder Engagement Manager at GESDA, where he supports the strategic coordination of engagement across diplomacy, science, the private sector, and civil society. His work focuses on strengthening GESDA’s stakeholder ecosystem through structured engagement processes, relationship management, and cross-community coordination, contributing to the foundation’s mission to translate scientific anticipation into concrete multilateral action.

Before joining GESDA, Shabon worked with the International Publishers Association (IPA), contributing to initiatives on freedom to publish, copyright, and sustainable development in a rapidly evolving technological environment. He holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID), with an academic background in history, international affairs, and tech governance. His experience includes applied research at the intersection of foresight and governance, contributing to policy recommendations aimed at positioning Geneva as a hub for global digital governance.
